Udruga Mladih Peteranec is governed by a voluntary executive board elected by the general assembly of members. Board members — including the President, Secretary and Treasurer — serve without any salary, honorarium, dividend or other form of remuneration. Their mandate is fixed in duration and renewable only by a vote of the membership.
The organization operates strictly on a not-for-profit basis. No part of our income, surplus or assets may be distributed, directly or indirectly, to members, officers, volunteers or related parties. Any surplus remaining at the end of a financial period is carried forward and reinvested exclusively into educational, cultural and volunteer programming that serves the public benefit.
We comply fully with the local regulations applicable to voluntary organizations in Malta, including requirements relating to lawful non-profit purpose, proper administration, record-keeping, annual reporting of activities and accounts, safeguarding of minors and vulnerable participants, and lawful use of donated or granted funds.
